The Prosper Group is seeking a talented and dedicated Website Manager to join its growing team of professionals dedicated to helping our clients thrive online.
The website manager is responsible for:
* Maintaining existing Wordpress Mu and Drupal websites by:
* Updating content through the content management system
* Creating additional assets for clients (including web-ready graphics and javascripts) and integrating them into an existing site
* Modifying existing themes/templates to update designs and provide additional functionality
* Set up hosting accounts through Plesk
* Creating and maintaining e-mail subscription lists for clients
* Creating and maintaining online advertising campaigns
* Troubleshooting bugs and providing client support
Prerequisites:
* Experienced in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
* Background in using Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in Photoshop.
* Experience creating and maintaining websites and an understanding of how to update sites through SFTP/SSH.
* Experience in updating database driven sites utilizing open source software (Drupal, Wordpress).
* Strong understanding of integrating social media into a site and using social networks for promotional purposes.
* Familiarity with PC and Mac platforms, and testing websites across a wide variety of browsers.
* United States resident.
Helpful skills:
* PHP programming
* Knowledge of Flash and AJAX
* A passion for politics
